2019 / 2020 Landowner Hunting Tags

Great news… we received 8 Antelope land owner vouchers and 13 Buck Mule Deer land owner vouchers hunts for 2019.  As you know Antelope tags are hard to come by and take several years of preference points to draw so if you ever wanted to get yourself an Antelope this would be the prime time to check this off your bucket list. Mule Deer tags are also becoming harder to acquire. This would be a perfect time to hunt your trophy Mule Deer for yourself since these tags have also been hard to come by for the past several years. You could bring your significant other, your niece, nephew or your grand kids and give them the chance to experience a great hunt. This year should be exceptional. We have excellent animals for both species in our areas. I have already secured vouchers for those on our waiting list.

Colorado Pronghorn Antelope Hunting Dates

October 5-7 and October 9-11

Antelope hunts are $ 3,550.00 plus tax $ 70.40 Total $ 3,620.40 for a 3-day hunt. You would arrive the day before and depart the day after these dates. Includes all lodging, all meals and transportation to and from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The price above includes your Antelope voucher and license/tag.

Mule Deer Hunting Dates in Colorado

November 2-5 and November 7-10

We received more Mule Deer Vouchers than we thought, so we’re breaking down our 3rd Mule Deer season into two 4-day hunts.  Mule Deer hunts are $ 4,950.00 plus tax $ 88.00 Total $ 5,038.00 for a 4-day hunt. You would arrive the day before and depart the day after these dates. Includes all lodging, all meals and transportation to and from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport. This price above includes your Mule Deer voucher but DOES NOT include your Mule Deer license/tag, you would purchase this upon arrival at the lodge.

Hunting Outfitters for Guided and Semi-Guided Big Game Hunts

Enjoy a week or more of great hunting and great friendships in beautiful Colorado. Located in the center of the elk migratory path, Maybell, Colorado is just 40 minutes from Craig, Colorado – THE ELK CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. Your hunts can be guided or semi-guided.  We’ve been guiding this ranch for the past 25 years and know the land as well as the animal movements throughout the private 27,000 – acre ranch. New alfalfa fields have been planted and water is supplied year round to ensure healthy and more resident animals.
Breakfast, lunch and Dinner are served in the main lodge. You will be served great meals three times a day such as fall off the bone BBQ Ribs, Cornish Game Hens and thick Delmonico Steaks. After dinner you can either retire to the bunk house for a well earned restful nights sleep on brand new mattresses in the softest of soft Cabela’s 3-D Camouflage flannel sheets, or you can hang out in the lodge for dessert. While waiting for dessert to be prepared you can  watch the big screen TV, play cards or just enjoy the ambiance of the lodge.

We have many repeat hunters and families that come to our lodge year after year. R & R Ranch of Colorado, Inc. is owned by husband-and-wife team Jeff and Shari Kempton, Shari Kempton is also the chairperson for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation – Gainesville, Florida Chapter.

If you’d prefer to fish for beautiful Rainbow Trout, the ranch is just 30 minutes away from the historic Yampa River. Or you can hunt game such as Antelope, Mule Deer and Elk.

Taxidermist near Craig, Colorado

All the hunter has to do is harvest the animal; our guides will take care of animal retrieval and can either cape and/or quarter your animal for you or if you’d prefer to have your animal processed they can deliver it to Brother’s Custom Processing, Inc. in Craig so that you can either ship it home or pick it up before your drive home. If you choose to have your trophy mounted our guides will deliver your hide and horns to Big Cat Taxidermy, in Craig. We have a new state-of-the-art animal processing building which includes: electric winches, hot & cold running water, wash down systems and a large 15 X 15 walk-in cooler to store your meat in at no extra charge.
